Venture past the Blue Mountains to the forested and artisanal heart of New South Wales on this five-day Warrumbungles adventure. From Sydney, jump on the road with a group of like-minded travellers bound for regional delights, including produce tastings, wilderness walks through verdant national parks, visits to The Dish observatory and the Three Sisters lookout, and local insight into First Nations cultures in the area. Passing by Katoomba, Orange, Mudgee and a whole host of local outposts, you’ll get a true sense of what regional Australia is all about – keeping it local and nothing but laidback.

Leave the city behind and breath in the fresh air of the Blue Mountains. We make a coffee stop en route to our first stop to see the famous 3 Sister and Echo Point lookout – Stretch legs & enjoy the views. Pass through the mountains with stunning views of the plains – keep your eyes open for Kangaroos and Emu’s & huge wedge Tail Eagles. We stop for lunch (Buy your own) in a regional town. After we check into our hotel in Orange sit back and relax for the afternoon while you indulge in local wine and produce hosted by friendly locals. After a great afternoon, freshen up in your room and join us for a welcome dinner and a drink. Retire to your room or enjoy a game of pool in a local bar.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast and relaxed morning, we set off for another great guided walk in Warrumbungle’s National park, led by our guide. After another great day exploring the Bungles, we head back to the beautiful surroundings of our accommodation for an afternoon at leisure – the choice is yours (Nestled in a picturesque, quiet & peaceful valley, bounded on 3 sides by the Castlereagh River, we stay in the closest accommodation to the Warrumbungle National Park. The perfect location for bush walkers, bird watchers & astronomers. Plus they have a 3 golf course.

Local Gourmet Breakfast: Relaxed day road tripping back to Sydney on beautiful backroads to Broke/Woollobi/Hunter Valley. View points and short walks to stretch our legs. Coffee & food stops in regional towns along the way. Boutique Hunter Valley wine tasting in the afternoon. Returns late afternoon to Sydney, the McLeay Hotel.
