Australia Tours from Sydney

We are on day 2 of the following tours: 14 day Sydney to Cairns 8 day Sydney to Brisbane, and 17 day Sydney to Daintree

For some, leaving Sydney can be hard but what’s beyond its borders will amaze you.

Prior to entering one of Australia’s most prestigious and well known wine regions we head to an amazing wildlife Park.   It wouldn’t be a trip to Australia without seeing some of Australia’s most iconic species of wildlife ranging from koalas, kangaroos, bilbies, emus, dingoes and wombats and if you’re not sure what these are, an expert from the Walkabout Wildlife Park just off the Pacific Highway is the perfect introduction to the day before a short drive into wine country!

Why go to the Hunter Valley? Most go for the wine and the scenic vistas but it’s not all about the fine wines, there’s a lot more to it than that.

At Roche Estate it’s all about fine dining with exceptional views of the estate but don’t fill yourself up yet, the day is only young and there’s plenty more to come!

Before leaving Roche Estate, it’s all about cheese and pretty much every cheese type you can think of including goat fetta!

After a degustation of multiple courses it might be a good idea to wash everything down with an iconic drop of Hunter Valley wine. Allandale Winery is a small vineyard which relies on sourcing local grapes in order to create unique wines ranging from a chardonnay to a Gewürztraminer.

With the day drawing to an end, Newcastle is on the horizon and what better way to burn off a few calories than by taking a stroll to Nobbys Beach, only a short walk from The Lucky Hotel! Catching the sun set from the end of the break wall is a perfect place to reflect on what has been an epic day in a world-renowned wine region.
