Hi Again, its Zoe the french intern here. Maybe you’re a beach lover, maybe not. If you’re not, I hope you’ll become one of us today.
Byron Bay is known as the « surfer’s city ». When you arrive in the town, you can literally feel it! Everybody is wearing flip flops, shorts, t-shirts, and lots of them are holding a surfboard. It feels like summer even when it’s winter! But this is also the perfect place to go kayaking, swimming, sky diving, whale watching, hiking to the lighthouse, or even to do yoga. There are so much things to do. You will find what suits you, even if it is relaxing with a book on beautiful white sands.
If your dream is to see wild whales, you’re at the right place! From Approx June – November, by boat, or by walking along the coast, you will see them everytime …Discliamer. not ‘everytime’ but very likely ; D
Just be patient and focus, like with the wild dolphins we saw in Port Macquarie!
Going hiking to reach the lighthouse means that you will pass through the eastern point of Australia! Isn’t it exciting? Yes, it is! This is something to check on your dream list. After a short walk, where I’m sure you saw lots of birds as Kookaburras, magpies or even garbage birds, it’s time to relax on the beach, listening at the waves’s sounds. Now, you’re maybe feeling hungry, right ? Just go for an ice-cream, a fresh juice or just a random snack !
Byron Bay is definitely a place that you can’t miss on the East Coast of Australia. This is one of the best place during the tour where you can do shopping for yourself or for your family. You will enjoy it, I hope!
Thanks for reading guys, see you soon!
