I’m Zoé, the french Via Travel intern for 2 months and a half. I connected with Stuart a few months ago and I’m finally here, in Australia!
I had the opportunity to try the Sydney to Brisbane – 8 Day Boutique Tour Package, which was an amazing trip with an awesome guide and friendly travel mates. So, I’ll share with you all the interesting things I did to make you want to join the adventure! Enjoy!
I’m sure everyone knows that Australia rhymes with Koalas and Kangaroos… You don’t? So look at these pictures! At the Walkabout wildlife Park, one hour from Sydney, you can have a great overview of aussies animals. I’m sure you don’t even know the name of all ! Even australian people don’t… They are too many ! Here, you can find Kangaroos, Koalas, Bilbis, Emus, Wombats, Snakes, Bats, Parrots and much more. In addition, you’ll be lead by one of the park’s guide who will be here to inform you about animals and tell you anecdotes !
Did you know that a baby Wombat in his natural environment can’t survive if his mother die? That’s why some of them are in captivity in this wildlife park, to be loved by the super staff! A lot of animals who are here are endangered in their natural habitat because of the lack of food often caused by deforestation or other bad human’s behaviour. But also some of them can be hurt by cars on the road, or fall on the ground and then become disabled. In this wildlife park, the staff helps them to survive!
Today is your opportunity to get informed about these animals, to get unique pictures and videos of them, and, who knows, maybe hold a snake!
