Day 1: Perth to Kalbarri
Departing Perth, we begin our scenic coastal journey north along Indian Ocean Drive. Our first stop is the Greenhead Three Bays area, where we enjoy a gentle coastal walk and take in sweeping ocean views. After lunch near Dynamite Bay, we continue north, stopping at the striking Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake, a natural phenomenon renowned for its vivid colour.
Continuing along the coast, we arrive in the Kalbarri region to visit the dramatic Natural Bridge before enjoying a relaxed walk at Castle Cove, where rugged cliffs meet the Indian Ocean. The day concludes with an overnight stay in the peaceful seaside town of Kalbarri, set at the mouth of the Murchison River.

Day 2: Kalbarri to Monkey Mia
An early start rewards us with visits to some of Kalbarri National Park’s most iconic landmarks, including Nature’s Window, views over the Murchison Gorge, and the impressive Kalbarri Skywalk, offering panoramic vistas over the ancient river system. In spring, the landscape comes alive with colourful wildflowers.
We pause for lunch at the historic Billabong Roadhouse (at own expense) before continuing north to the unique Shell Beach, where millions of tiny white shells form the shoreline.
Arriving at Monkey Mia in the World Heritage–listed Shark Bay, we settle into our beachfront accommodation. The afternoon is free to relax, stroll along the beach, or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Optional activities include kayaking or spotting local wildlife such as emus, kangaroos, turtles and dugongs.

Day 3: Monkey Mia to Geraldton
This morning offers a highlight of the journey — the opportunity to observe the famous Monkey Mia dolphins during their early morning visit to the shoreline. After the dolphin experience, enjoy free time to relax by the beach or, for those interested, join an optional wildlife cruise in Shark Bay (pre-booking required, at own expense).
Late morning, we regroup and travel to Eagle Bluff, where boardwalks and lookouts provide excellent opportunities to spot marine life such as sharks and turtles. We then enjoy time in Denham, with a stroll along the foreshore and lunch at leisure.
In the afternoon, we journey south toward Geraldton, stopping at the Overlander Roadhouse and Galena Bridge for photo opportunities. Arriving in Geraldton in the early evening, we settle in for our final night by the sea.

Day 4: Geraldton to Perth
This morning begins with a visit to the HMAS Sydney II Memorial, offering sweeping views over Geraldton and a moment of reflection. We also stop at the Point Moore Lighthouse before continuing south to Port Denison, where we enjoy a gentle foreshore walk and lookout.
Travelling along the coast, we stop in Jurien Bay for a walk along the jetty before continuing to the charming town of Cervantes. Here, we enjoy lunch at the iconic Lobster Shack, followed by a guided tour of the lobster processing facility.
Our final highlight is a visit to Nambung National Park, where we wander among the fascinating limestone formations of the Pinnacles Desert. We then relax on the return journey to Perth, arriving in the early evening, with drop-offs commencing around 6:30pm.
