With the launch of our latest

we wanted to share some of the best excursions and attractions, as well as some of the hidden gems that you should visit!
Here are 11 excursions to add to your itinerary.
And guess what?
They’re all part of our

offering an unparalleled level of comfort, adventure, and inclusion that sets us apart from the rest.
What to Do on the West Coast of Australia
- Visit Ningaloo Reef – As a World Heritage Site, Ningaloo Reef promises beautiful marine life like whale sharks (they’re harmless), humpback whales, manta rays and corals. Whether you want to get in the water and snorkel or appreciate its wonder from a glass-bottom boat, it’s an experience not to miss.
Here is everything you need to know before you go. - The Pinnacles at Nambung National Park – At more than 25,000 years old, the limestone Pinnacles at Nambung National Park are as cool as they are mysterious. Like something out of a sci-fi movie, these natural marvels can be up to 3.5m tall.
- Kalbarri National Park Skywalk – Suspended 100 metres in the air overhanging the gorge, the Kalbarri Skywalk provides incredible views as you walk out onto two cantilevered viewing platforms. Plus, you’ll discover Aboriginal artwork and learn how the gorges were formed.
- Lancelin Sand Dunes – North of Perth lies Western Australia’s largest sand dunes, located in the picturesque town of Lancelin. Enjoy panoramic views at dawn or dusk, sandboard down steep dunes, or explore by dirt bike.
- Eagle Bluff Lookout – Walk along the boardwalk to enjoy sweeping ocean views and Shell Beach below. Look out for stingrays, dugongs, sharks, and other beautiful marine life in the sheltered bay.
- Swim in Kermit’s Pool – The reward after navigating narrow canyons on the Handrail Pool Hike at Hancock Gorge. Best done with a guide, Kermit’s Pool offers a refreshing mini-adventure in the heart of Karijini National Park.
West Coast Australia Hidden Gems
Here are some of the more unique experiences that you might not hear about in travel brochures. These are some of our favourite hidden gems in Western Australia.
- Rock Lobster Pot Pull Boat Trip – Join the Coral Coast’s seafood culture by helping to haul Western Rock Lobster pots. Surrounded by the Kalbarri coastline, keep an eye out for humpback whales and other wildlife.
- Gwoonwardu Mia Gascoyne Aboriginal Heritage and Cultural Centre – Located in Carnarvon, this award-winning centre showcases immersive stories and heritage from the region’s five Aboriginal language groups.
- Didgeridoo Dreaming Night Tour – Immerse yourself in Aboriginal culture, set to the hypnotic sound of the didgeridoo, complete with Bushtucker in
Monkey Mia. - HMAS Sydney II Memorial – A moving tribute to the 645 men who perished when the vessel sank in 1941. Located in Geraldton with a beautiful coastal backdrop.
- Vlamingh Head Lighthouse – Over 100 years old, offering spectacular sunsets in Exmouth. From the lookout you can see a WWII radar station and possibly spot humpback whales during migration (June–October).
So, is West Coast Australia worth visiting? Yes! From towering sand dunes to ancient rock formations, every corner of this region is filled with natural wonders waiting to be explored.
